1998
Realizing the rapid growth of the computer hardware components industry and the market potential for a European distributor, Saltek was founded in Antwerp , Belgium .
With Saltek's advanced expertise in the field of RAM technology, the company quickly becomes a remarkable presence in the European distribution market.
1999
With a strong er position in Europe , Saltek enthusiastically begins to seek out business partners to help further the rapidly growing company.
To satisfy the increasing demand from customers, the company acquires new suppliers, sets and achieves new goals and objectives with overwhelming success.
2000
Establishing and maintaining good relations with customers and suppliers, helps Saltek reach its first significant milestone: more than 500,000 units of RAM are sold.
2001
Saltek experiences its first exhibition at CeBIT. The show along with continually improving customer relations generates a surge of new customers. Evidence of th is significant company growth – 750,000 units of RAM are sold in 2001.
2002
B y acquiring Memory Trade Planet, a broker company specializing in the distribution of RAM, Saltek strengthens its position in the marketplace. Saltek sells approximately one million units of RAM and signs new collaboration agreement s with several of the biggest high quality OEM manufacturers. A partnership is formed with AMD.
Saltek participates for the first time in the SMAU show in Milan and repeats its presence at this year's CeB IT . Both s hows are huge success es in capturing additional customers and accelerating growth even further .
By October the company exceeds turnover objectives planned for 2002.
2003
The opening of a direct account with AMD allows the company to continue expanding . Due to th is rapid growth , a company restructuring takes place in July 2003.
By September , Saltek breaks its projected sales goals for the year in both : turnover and volume.
Saltek continues to gain greater reco gnition and solidly places itself in the international market community through its consistent participation at important European technology shows (CeB IT and SMAU).
In November, the administration of the company's Website (Saltek.com) is turned over to: Italian WebService.
2004
The year gets off to a successful start when A– D ata announces that Saltek is among their best worldwide customers in 2003, while AMD officially names Saltek a sub-distributor.
In the second half of the year a strong network of European distributors is established.
By the third quarter of 2004 Saltek decides to further expand its business horizon and announces the opening of operations in the United States to service the entire market of the Americas (North, Central, South and the Caribbean).
2005

It was a special, perhaps even unique, year for Saltek.
The contacts tell us we have overpassed all the records of the Saltek's history; together the European and the USA's offices have reached the excellent levels also in the distribution of S3plus, another brand sold by the group Saltek.

2006 has been a year characterized of increasing request of flash memory as well as cards and usb.
The Desktop market, therefore Dram market, it's falling and the competition is becoming stronger and stronger
Change in demand from one product to another generates lack of balance, however, the final results remain positive
2007
2007 is born and consolidates the same path as 2006.
Sales of Flash products overcome considerably Dram.
Saltek has signed a distribution contract with Kingmax and Goldenmars.
2008
Saltek has been appointed as an authorized distributor of Aeneon
Saltek has expanded its range of products in the direction of games: Nintendo & Sony
